| Harnam Kakkar, FCMA | |
Harnam began his career in the manufacturing industry, where he was promoted to executive vice president of a large private company. Since founding the Kakkar Group in 1978, he has been providing services in management consulting, corporate turnaround strategies, obtaining SR&ED tax credits, government grants, and financing. His extensive experience in manufacturing has allowed him to successfully advise companies, returning them from the brink of bankruptcy to multi-million dollar profits. Moreover, his knowledge in SR&ED tax credits and grants is unparalleled: he was instrumental in the promotion of the current SR&ED program and since then he has obtained millions of dollars in grants for his clients. Harnam has been awarded the rare designation of Fellow of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada, and has served as President of the Society of Management Accountants of Quebec. He has taught accounting courses at McGill University for over 20 years, and on behalf of McGill University and the Society of Management Accountants of Canada has given numerous seminars across Canada on obtaining government grants and financing. |

| Manu Kakkar, BSc.(Hons), CA, CGA, TEP, MTax | |
Manu is responsible for managing both Montreal and London offices. He has over 14 years of experience working in public practice with both mid-size and large multi-national CA firms, where he was promoted to tax manager. Manu provides specialized services in tax consulting and compliance. He has substantial expertise in corporate reorganizations; mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; estate planning; employee and executive compensation; cross-border taxation; SR&ED tax credits; in addition to personal and corporate tax planning for owner/managers. Manu has written extensively for the Canadian Tax Foundation, and CA and CGA Magazines on several taxation subjects. His Master of Taxation thesis was awarded the top prize in his class, and was subsequently published in the Canadian Tax Journal. Manu also teaches taxation for the Institutes of Chartered Accountants and Certified General Accountants of Ontario and Quebec as well as the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. |

| Madhu Kakkar, MSc (Chemistry) | |
Madhu is responsible for client relations, financing, and quality control. As the COO, she ensures that the firm has the resources to effectively meet the clients' needs. Prior to joining the Kakkar Group, she taught chemistry at the college level. She uses her scientific knowledge to assist clients in completing the scientific technical descriptions of the SR&ED tax claims. Finally, Madhu provides all types of business advisory services. Her resourcefulness and innovation allows her to find solutions to the most difficult and complex problems. |

| Mohit Kakkar, BA, BCompSci |
Mohit is responsible for the Management Information Systems of the Kakkar Group. Mohit maintains each of the Montreal and London office local area networks as well as the wide area network that exists between the two offices. In addition, he has acquired experience in obtaining SR&ED tax credits for various clients. His clear thinking and breadth of knowledge on multiple subjects makes him an invaluable member of the Kakkar Group. |
| Shaun David, CPA |
Shaun has been with the firm for 8 years. During that time, he has gained extensive expertise in auditing, accounting, financing, Canadian and US taxation, SR&ED tax credits, and other government grants.
In addition to bringing substantial technical and leadership skills to the
overall direction of his team and mandates, Shaun works with our clients on
a wide range of business issues. He also supervises and monitors the monthly
performance of numerous clients, providing them with results-oriented advice
on their strategies and day-to-day decisions. Shaun regularly handles
various clients' matters with several of the largest financial institutions
in Canada including preparing and reviewing cashflow projections. Shaun's unique combination of technical and interpersonal skills makes him an invaluable resource for our younger staff. He plays an integral role in their management and training. Overall, Shaun's ever-pleasing personality and dedication makes him a very important player on our team. |
| Ashley Vencatagadoo |
Ashley has a Bachelor of Commerce. He will complete his CGA in 2009. He specializes in SR&ED tax credits, auditing, accounting, corporate finance, government grants, and taxation. He visits clients on a monthly basis to provide management advisory services. |
| Lin Van Minh |
Van has a Diploma in Accounting. He handles multiple responsibilities including SR&ED tax credits, accounting, taxation, and Government Grants. He also assists in organizing various seminars. |
